Greg Blankenship ~ Mandolin
I play mandolin and sing lead & baritone for LakeSide.  I love to sing and play in this group because we all view it as a ministry to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ.  I am a mechanical engineer and currently travel the world. I have been to at least 8 or 9 different countries and I have frequent trips to Asia. I have played bluegrass music since I was 10 years old with my brother and friends.  My primary instrument has always been the mandolin, because no one else played it, but I do love the mandolin. I am married to my wonderful wife “Ann” and we have two children “Megan” and “Lucas”.  My wife and I are members of Vonore Baptist Church. My family is great; they are the ones that truly sacrifice for me to participate in this ministry.  I love the Lord and my family, and only hope that I will be able to continue the ministry provided by LakeSide.  The sole purpose of this ministry is to spread the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ.

Gary Woody ~ Banjo, Rhythm Guitar, and Dobro

I began playing guitar and singing at an early age.  Later, at the age of fifteen, I began playing banjo. I have performed at the Grand Ole Opry and have performed with numerous groups in the north Georgia tri-state area.  I formed a country music band called Dixieland Express who had regular performances in night clubs in the Dalton, Georgia area.  My life reached a turning point when I decided to turn my attention toward God.  Realizing that country music and playing in night clubs wasn't what God would have me do, I set on a new path to worship through music.  I now sing and play for the Lord, something I feel very at home with.
I continue to sing gospel and bluegrass music while residing in Tunnel Hill, Georgia and attending Salem Baptist Church in Dalton, Georgia.

Andy Miller ~ Guitar
I accepted the Lord as my savior alone in a motel room in November of 1996.  Since then my Savior has blessed me more than I can say.  He put a song in my heart and all I did was put the words on paper. I grew up in a family of bluegrass musicians and singers but I never really got it until I fell on my knees that night.  After I got saved, I started singing in church.  In 1999 I was diagnosed with tongue cancer.
The surgeons removed over a third of my tongue and I thought I would never sing again, but God blessed me again.  It wasn't long before I was back to singing in my church.  In 2001, my oldest brother, Eddie, died in a fatal car accident.  He and my younger brother, John, were playing for Valerie Smith and Liberty
Pike at the time.  Music was my brother's life.  His death made me realize that life is too short to hide your talents.  I started working harder to learn to play my guitar.  God certainly blessed me again in 2003 with the opportunity to minister through song with some of the finest Christian men I have ever been associated with.  I can only pray that God will bless me with many more years to lift up His name so
that He might draw men unto Him.  I live in Knoxville with my wife, Tammy.
PRAISE THE LORD!!

Eddie Morgan ~ Bass
I am so blessed. I’m  blessed to have been brought up by Christian parents , in a wonderful Church. I am blessed to have met a wonderful girl, Donna  who I have been married to for 27 years, and blessed to have 3 great sons, Nathan, Andrew, and Brett. God has been so good to me, and I know I am undeserving . I have been a Christian since I was 8 years old, and it gets sweeter every day. I am a member of Central United Methodist Church in Lenoir City, TN, and am a member of the praise band there. It’s an awesome place to worship, and to serve. If that’s not enough, I am blessed to be associated with this group, and have the privilege to play , sing and testify of God’s love for me. I don’t know why God has blessed me so, but I want to spend as much time as I can thanking Him.  Most of all, I want to thank Him for Jesus and His saving grace.

Randy Terry~ Banjo
I play banjo and guitar, and sing lead and baritone for LakeSide.  I have been playing bluegrass music for approximately 35 years.  I have been married for 20 years to my lovely wife Michelle and we have two kids Mitchell and Bryce, and we live in Robbins, TN.  In 1989 I received Christ as my savior and my life has not been the same since.  At age 38, I was diagnosed with terminal heart failure, and I am a living witness that prayers due come true.  Six months later I received a new heart and I have been blessed to have had this heart for four years, now!  So when you are truly facing a tribulation, there is just one name to call on, and that is Jesus!  I have been part of LakeSide’s ministry for six months and look forward to many years.

Pure Heart

                                 Pure Heart

A Ministry of Hope and Joy in Song and Word

 Pure Heart Is:
Is an inter-denominational group of Christians that believe:
Ø     In one God eternally existing in three persons: the Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
Ø     That Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the Father, conceived of the Holy Ghost and born of the Virgin Mary.
Ø     That Jesus was crucified, buried and raised from the dead.
Ø     That He ascended to heaven and is today at the right hand of the Father as the Intercessor.

History:
Pure Heart was formed in early 1992 by John Thomas. Over the years, God has given Pure Heart many wonderful opportunities to travel and minister all over the U.S.   Among their favorites is Dollywood’s “Octoberfest” in which they have made several appearances. No matter how small the church or large the crowd, Pure Heart considers it a privilege to go anywhere God opens the door, because they go in the name of the Lord! Seeing God save souls and change lives remains the driving force that keeps them going. Jesus in us is the only reason we have a song to sing!

In 1997, Pure Heart had their first nationally charted single. They are most recognized for their testimony song “What a Joy,” now covered by The Nelons and Kirk Talley. In 1999 it became the #11 song of the year in the southeast.

In April 2000, Pure Heart was nominated for a Diamond Award for the Sunrise group of the year.

We have since had the honor of ministering in many different areas of our country, touring in Texas and Arkansas in 2006, singing at the Gold Rush Festival in McCormick, SC in 2007, and for several years at the Apple Festival in Hendersonville, NC.

Mission Statement:
Pure Heart has a tremendous burden for the lost. We hope that the words we speak and sing may help others experience the love and joy of knowing our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Pure Heart also has a burden for Christians who are struggling through everyday life. We are in the “last days” and like never before the enemy is waging war on God’s people. John 10:10 says “The thief cometh, not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy.” That is exactly what Satan is doing to so many Christians today. But Jesus said “I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” Through God’s Spirit, we want to help take back what the enemy has stolen…to turn discouragement into hope and depression into joy! Pure Heart wants the world to know that the joy of the Lord is our Strength (Neh. 8:10). God still restores lives that have been broken and gives “Joy Unspeakable!”

The Bondservants

http://www.thebondservants.com

Our Mission Statement

A Bondservant or Slave: One who is in a permanent relation of servitude to the Master, his will altogether consumed in the will of God. A Greek understanding of the word reveals that it reflects our desire to follow our Master by choice and to make a lifelong commitment of surrender. II Corinthians 4:5, For we do not preach ourselves but Christ Jesus as Lord, and ourselves as your bondservants for Jesus' sake.

We
are The BondServants, a men’s vocal group that was formed in 1983 out of a group of guys from Chattanooga, Tennessee, who love to praise the Lord in song. Understanding and following the “Christ Life” as taught by our pastors, we seek out ways to serve in music and testimony, proclaiming the gospel and glorifying our Lord.

We accept ministry opportunities as the Lord leads, and have traveled in excess of 1200 miles for a single event. Our goals are to see lost people come to know Christ, encourage believers and change lives toward a more meaningful relationship with Him. In spite of and through the trials which we have experienced in our personal lives in the recent years, we have seen tremendous growth in our ministry for the cause of Christ.

We are a family oriented group and we enjoy taking our families with us to our concerts.

Redeemed has two reasons why we do what we do.
1)  To bring God’s word to the lost in hopes that they would accept Christ as their Savior.

The Chapeltones

http://www.thechapeltones.org

This group is from Dalton, GA.  Clark Thompson sings the lead, with George on the bass, Vance sings the baritone, then Pat hits those high notes. This a great group you will enjoy hearing.

George and Vance started this group back in 1962. WOW, 45 years in the gospel music business. These guys know how to get it done. My wife and I have been friends with a couple of the members for a while now, but we had never attened a concert. [Shame, shame] until April 6th. We said, "We are going!" We did and we were totally amazed. During the entire service one after another from the congregation would just get up and come to the altar.

We were touch and blessed. You will be also. Don't miss your chance to see that God still uses groups like these guys to minister to His people.
